OPPORTUNITIES
The Norwin Band Aides is comprised of volunteers working to support each
member of The Norwin High School Band and Colorguard through a variety of
events, commuications and fundraising activities. We raise and distribute
monies, as required for the activities of the band, not funded by the Norwin
School District. And did we mention we have a blast doing it!?!

Norwin Percussion Ensemble Earns 1st Place at Black Swamp Showcase
The Norwin High School Percussion Ensemble has been named the 1st Place Winner in the Small Ensemble Division at the 2026 Black Swamp Percussion Solo and Ensemble Showcase, a national event featuring submissions from high school percussion ensembles from around the country.
The ensemble, featuring Thomas Casey, Andrew Hodder, Korbin Holliday, and Nick Todaro, performed José / beFORe JOHN5 by Aurél Holló. Judges praised the group’s energy, musicality, and overall performance quality, with one noting that the level of performance is rarely seen even at the collegiate level.
