OVERVIEW:

Fair Share refers to funds provided by the family of each participating band student each year.  This amount is needed from every band student and is determined each year based upon the band’s schedule and budget.
 

New Members:

• Total Fair Share is $545.00

• First Installment is due by July 31, 2024 in the amount of $185.00

• Second Installment is due by August 31, 2024 in the amount of $185.00

• Final Installment is due by September 30, 2023 in the amount of $175.00

Returning Members:

• Total Fair Share is $645.00

• First Installment is due by June 30, 2024 in the amount of $180.00

• Second Installment is due by July 31, 2024 in the amount of $180.00

• Third Installment is due by August 31, 2024 in the amount of $180.00

• Final Installment is due by September 30, 2024 in the amount of $105.00

POINTS:

The Norwin Band Aides point system is for the purpose of encouraging participation in Norwin Band Aides fundraising activities to benefit the Band and Colorguard. These fundraising activities enable our Band and Colorguard students to participate in local, regional, and national band events and receive engaging educational opportunities while on campus.

Points are awarded based upon household participation in approved sales-based fundraising activities. Points are then used to help offset student fair-share contributions to support the band. A student receives one-half (1/2) point for each one (1) dollar of fundraising profit earned for the band (referred to as the 50% level) from that student's household participation in fundraisers such as:

• Hoagies

• Sarris Candy

• Other family fundraisers, as approved by the Board

Some slected fundraising opportunities may be designated higher than the 50% level. This designation is subject to annual assessment by a Finance Committee and Board approval.
